‌Steel body current collector, also known as steel body collector, is an important component in the slide wire system. Steel body current collectors are widely used in harsh environments such as high temperature, low temperature, high voltage, strong corrosion and more dust, such as industries like steelmaking, metallurgy, chemical industry, wharfs, as well as electrified railway systems in places such as mines and factories. With solid structure, good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, it can operate stably for a long time in harsh environments.
Types and installation methods
Steel body current collectors can be divided into two types according to the installation form: front-mounted and side-mounted. Before installation, it is necessary to check the flexibility of the tension device and the condition of the carbon brush to ensure that they meet the specified requirements. During installation, the current collector needs to be adjusted to a certain pressure to make the carbon brush closely contact with the slide wire, and ensure the force balance. After installation, it is necessary to test run the equipment, observe whether the carbon brush maintains good contact with the slide wire, and adjust the flatness and verticality of the slide wire if there is any abnormality.
Maintenance
During maintenance, it is necessary to regularly check the wear of the carbon brush, replace damaged parts in time to ensure the normal operation of the system.
